How it works

How precise a pet alert gets
Dogs and cats are separate sections with their own breed lists — 84 for dogs, 29 for cats — under the same names you see on ss.lv, so a Labrador alert brings Labradors and nothing else. Add an age range in months, so puppies and grown dogs do not arrive together, and a region, so you only hear about animals you can reach. A British shorthair kitten up to four months old in Riga is one alert.
